Joanne Y. Hoecherl

Passed away peacefully at Zilber Family Hospice October 30th, 2018 at the age of 87.

Dear mother of Gregory, Dan (Rosanne), and the late Debra. Loving grandma of Joel, Julie (Chris), Amanda (Lee), Abby, Serena, Vanessa (Matt), Jeff and great-grandma of Cheyenne, Spencer, Gabrielle, Jacob, Jolianna, Aiden, Jaylen, Brianna, Logan and Lilly. Beloved sister of Phyllis Dassow and Charlotte (Jim) Honeck. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Joanne will be held at the FUNERAL HOME Monday November 5th, 2018 from 10-11am with a service to follow. Burial at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Joanne will be fondly remembered for her 5-star cooking and baking skills. She lived most of her life in Greendale WI and was an involved member of the King of Glory Lutheran Church choir. Joanne also spent almost 20 years in Florida and was proud of her work in the accounting field, working for the Linen Chest store. Joanne returned to WI and dedicated her life to caring for the disabled and elderly as a co-owner of Golden Care, Inc. for the last 20 years. Her granddaughter Abby, who was born with RETT Syndrome, will always hold a special place in Joanne’s heart.
