Passed away Sunday March 13th, 2011 age 79 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Barbara nee Wagner. Dear father of Mary Ruth Dale Turkle, Andrea Robert Lember. Beloved grandfather of Margaux Aaron Colburn, Allyson David Kletz. Brother of Walter Ginny, Eugene Angelina and the late Phyllis Sanderson. Dear friend of Clare Pray. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday March 17th at 7PM at St. Florian Parish, 1233 S. 45th St. Visitation at the Funeral Home March 17 before Mass from 4-6PM. Inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
John proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a longtime member of South Division Old Timer’s Association. Memorials to St. Florian Parish or American Red Cross appreciated.
