Found peace Thursday, May 23, 2002 age 69. Loving husband of Joan nee Mogensen. Caring father of Gregory John Teri Lampe, Jacqueline Marie Gary Prelesnik and Micheal James Lampe. Dearest grandpa of Jamie fiance Zackery Bradley, Sara and Nichole Prelesnik, Julie and Jenna Lampe. Great-grandpa of Austen Bradley. Brother of Harold ”Hoople” Pat Lampe, Carol Gil Marsch, Mary Jane Lampe and James Liz Lampe. Brother-in-law of Natalie Buchberger. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Wed. 4:30-6:15 PM at ST. STEPHEN’S CHURCH, 5872 S. Howell Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:30 PM.
John was a retired firefighter for the City of Oak Creek after 18 years of service. A volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society for many years. He was a great supporter of Oak Creek High School Girls Softball, an avid golfer and a lover of ballroom dancing. Memorials may be made to Covenant Home Health and Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
