Thursday, September 12, 2013, age 95 years. Husband of the late Lucille T. Acker (nee Komos). Father of Gary (Gloria) Acker, Nancy (Jeffrey) Wandt of Colorado, Edward (Wendy) Acker and John (Paula) Acker. Brother of Burton Acker and the late Marion (the late Ben) Jaeger. Brother-in-law of Faye Price. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday, September 19 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at ST MARTIN OF TOURS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment St Martin of Tours Cemetery.
Mr. Acker was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired employee of Heil Co., a member of United Steelworkers #1344, a member of Old Time Ball Players Association and a member of Milwaukee County Senior Citizens Hall of Fame.
