Surrounded by his loving family, passed into eternal life on March 9, 2011 at the age of 64 yrs. Beloved husband of Lynda nee Frahm. Dear father of the late John, Thomas Deb, Michael Jennifer, Dave Dena, and Amy Tim Schiefelbein. Loving Papa of Meredith, Ben, Zachary, Alexander, Jake, Katie, Megan, Chelsea and Max. Preceded in death by his parents Helen and John, Sr. Brother of Paul Dana McDowell. Son-in-law of Evelyn Frahm. Brother-in-law of Tom Michele Frahm. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation Sat. Mar. 12, 12-3pm with funeral services at 3pm at OUR LORD’S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5000 S. Sunnyslope Rd. Jay was an active member of Our Lord’s serving in many capacities and was especially passionate in supporting the Honduras Mission. Jay was a devoted husband and loving father who loved sailing, fishing and spending time with the family at the lake. Memorials to Our Lord’s United Methodist Church appreciated.
