Passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the age of 84 years. Loving husband of Audrey M. nee Feierstein. Dear father of Mary Jeanne Bryant Morinville, Mike Bonnie, Gerard Wendy Sue and Patrick Lee Ann Hammernik. Grandfather of Shawn, Aimie, Anna, Amanda, Matthew, Christy, Jennifer, Deborah and John. Great-grandfather of Olivia, Joshua, Sophia, Joseph, Vaughn, Cooper, Ellie, Kenzie, Noah and Loralei. Brother of Arline Heckel. Preceded in death by Mildred Barker. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Monday at ST. MATTHEW’S CATHOLIC CHURCH 9303 S. Chicago Rd. from 4 – 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 7pm at the church. Interment Tuesday at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

John was a dedicated employee of Milwaukee Road for 37 years and a proud Army Veteran of WWII.
