John Jurkiewicz

Passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at age 66. Loving husband to Sandra Natschke. Beloved dad to Lisa (Chirag) Patel, Elaine Jurkiewicz (Tom Brock), Janelle (Chris) Luzinski, Daniela Natschke (Jake Nadermann), Robert Jurkiewicz (Patricia Subotich), and Samuel Jurkiewicz (Autumn Chipman). Grandpa to Kaiden Luzinski, Kaylee Luzinski, Dean Jurkiewicz, Kennedy Luzinski, and Ella Jurkiewicz. Brother to Laura Alonzo (fiancé Bob Lannin), Suzanne (David) Robles, Elaine Rayne, Juliet (Craig) Schuler, and Michael Jurkiewicz. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
John loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Other things he enjoyed were hunting, fishing, golf, traveling to Tennessee and Florida, and watching Wisconsin sports- the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks. In honor of his love for the Packers, the family requests that you wear your favorite Packer gear (or any Wisconsin sports gear).
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (9200 S 27th St. Oak Creek) with a funeral service to follow at 5:30 pm. After the service, family asks that you join them at Mulligan’s (8933 S 27th St. Franklin) to lift a glass in John’s memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Friends of the Smokies are appreciated.

To say this is a shock is an understatement. John was a great guy and I have lots of fond memories of dealing with the world of PPG with him. Even in the worst circumstances, he could find a way to make me laugh. Prayers to Sandy and the rest of the family.

He will always be Uncle John to me. I have so many memories of him that were a part of my childhood when we would be camping, or just at my cousins house running around. I was always fond of his smile and when he would laugh at something. He was also a dear friend to my own dad too. And his daughters mean the world to me. I send my deepest condolences to all of his family members and he will truly be missed. But may the memories we have of him live on in our hearts. RIP Uncle John and I hope you and my dad are cracking open a cold beer and catching up.

John was truly a joy to be with. One of the nicest, kindest, and gentle people I have ever known. Our small retirement group would get together about once a month and watch the brewers, talk politics, sports, stock market. and just enjoy each other’s company. We also went to many Brewer games and would go to the playoff games. I will definitely miss those times with John. Our sympathy and prayers are with the Jurkiewicz family

To all who knew John would say the same thing, he was a true great guy! I was very lucky to have known John for a long time. After PPG, we kept our friendship going. as John and Sandy would come to Florida for vacation and John and I would meet up and golf at our favorite golf course by a small airport. We enjoyed watching small planes land and John and I would then head to our favorite place to eat, Dockside, where we enjoyed good food and something to drink and talked about everything. I will truly miss John and our time together. Until we see each other again, rest in peace, my friend.
