While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one like John. We look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly father return your dear one to you. Which will take place here on a Paradise earth under better conditions ( Psalm 37:29 ). The family has our prayers.

Your now a card carrying member of the Pearly Gates Golf and Country Club. I will so miss our weekly conversations and your incredible mind and mostly your friendship and sense of humor. I don’t get to tease you for being the Wisconsin State Amateur Everything Champion, but you have won the best tournament ever, your in Heaven John. We will tee it up again together buddy and I’ll watch and admire as you shoot your age. Several health issues will keep me from attending the services Jeri but you and your daughters and those grandkids John spoke with me about so often will be in my thoughts. He was so proud of their bilingual abilities. Jennifer and Julie, Jeri knows how much he meant to all his friends in Anthem, he touched a lot of peoples lives here and everywhere his travels took him and all his friends here wish you all the best as you deal with John’s passing. He will truly be missed.
He was and is one of the greatest guys I ever met and I’m proud to say we were friends.

Jeri, Glenda and I are thinking of you and your family. We send our sympathy for the passing of John. I personally was happy 3 weeks ago when we had some time together, though limited. Though ill, John had comments and thoughts of so many things from Anthem to Wisconsin. But the more important I felt was his efforts to change everything possible to make your situation as tolerable as possible after his passing. John cared for you deeply, perhaps more than words could express. We will keep him and you in our prayers.

Jeri, John was always the gentleman who thought, acted, and hit a golf ball like a young guy yet the depth and breadth of his knowledge was that of someone well beyond his years. He was always a joy to be around. Thanks for being part of Anthem. Please know there are many who are thinking of you and your family during this time, you are not alone. God bless John, you and your family. Love, Steve & Nancy

Jeri and family – Renee’ and I hold you in our prayers and thoughts. John was very influential in my career development. I still tell a story or two using John’s management style as an example – 25+ years later!!! I had the pleasure of speaking with him a couple months ago as he was concerned about me & my family after our loss of a son last year. Always caring, setting the example of how we should be in every day life. When I heard this morning of John’s passing – I had a image of him trying to convince the angels that they can improve flight performance by adopting a new method!!!! Always in our hearts. Pat & Renee.

Dear Kaufman family. I am honored and blessed to have known and worked for Mr. Kaufman. He was truly a blessing in my life. I and my friends in the Japanese Airlines community which operated the 747s and the DC-10s miss him very much I clearly remember the occasions when I met him in Japan, and in Oak Creek office working late nights. To me, he was one of the greatest scientists/engineersI/inventors, but the video reminded me that he was also a very good husband, father, grandfather, golfer. I will miss him. My condolences.
