Mama came, took Pop by the hand and said it was time to go. Pop found peace January 24, 2019 at the age of 93 and joins the love of his life of 60 years, Ophelia and their beautiful daughter Patricia in heaven. He is survived by his children, Reynaldo (Betty) Rodriguez, Graciela (Kenneth) Locke, Elena (Gregory) Pingry and Robert Rodriguez. Grandpa to Lisa (Todd), Timothy (Ann), Thaddeus, Michael (Alicia), Anthony, Hannah and Aaron. Great Grandpa to Chloe, Madison and Samantha. Also survived by numerous relatives and friends. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Florencio and Feliciana Rodriguez, six brothers and three sisters.

Pop will be remembered for his strength, his faith and devotion to his church, freely giving help to those in need and the love he had for his family.

Visitation Tuesday, January 29 at the funeral home from 4:30-6:30 PM and Wednesday at OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CHURCH, 613 South 4th Street from 10-10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
