Passed away Sunday July 3, 2005 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Theresa nee Wenzel. Dear father of Erika Kenneth Gardner, Joseph Loretta Rose- Smolic, Thomas Anneliese Schwarz Smolic, Mary Ann Daniel Sulik. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren. Dear brother of Franciscan Brother Matia Smolic of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Josef was a member of Knights of Columbus and the Cultural Society Triglav.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. at 11AM at St. Louis Catholic Church. I-94 and Hwy G Caledonia, WI.. Visitation will be held Tues. at the Funeral Home from 5-8PM. Internment St. Louis Cemetery.
In leau of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Diabetes Association.
