    Joe and Family,
My family reaches out to you with a heavy heart and condolences. I have been fortunate to witness and be apart of the Sterny Boy’s cooking and celebrating together. It was always fun and interesting to say the least. It will never be the same without the eldest brother and I am sure he will be missed but never forgotten.
    God Speed
Thomas, Felicia, and Shane Mc Hugh with love.

We are sorry we did not get to know your son but your dear wife Rita was our cousin and you and she and your family are and were special to us. Praying for you and your family in this difficult time. Not in the kind of shape to travel anymore but hope your memories provide you some comfort.

I am saddened and shocked hearing of Joe’s passing, as he left far too soon. I will always remember Joe for his big heart, kindness, and being such a fun person to be around. Reflecting back on all of the great times I’ve had with Joe in our youth, I will always cherish all of the fond memories that I have of Joe and all of the Sterny family. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Sterny family during this difficult time.

Chris and I are very saddened about the passing of cousin Joe. We have found memories of him visiting us throughout the years. Back in college he stopped by during winter carnival and we braved the snow to look at all the snow statues and dragged him to a few frat parties. He spent a weekend at our place up north boating and fishing and hanging out by the campfire. We were all camping in tents except for Joe who slept in the back of his truck underneath the stars. We went to a packer game together and had loads of fun both before and after. My heart goes out to Jode, she was the light of his life and although I only met her a few times it was obvious how much Joe adored her. To Uncle Joe, Cousin John, Pete, Paul and the rest of my extended family of cousins our sincerest condolences and sympathy. May he rest in peace next to Auntie Rita, Grandma Ida, Grandpa Joe, Julio and all the other loved ones who previously passed.
