Was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Romans 8:35-39. Beloved husband of Sophie Meus for 55 years and father of Mary Marc, Joe Jr. Denise, Michael Jackie, Kathy, and Jim Vicky. Fun-loving grandfather of Jacob, Erinn, Amelia, Noah, Hannah, Ethan and Natalie. Dad was a World War II work prison survivor, decorated Korean War Army veteran, proud American, skilled wood craftsman and avid Farkel champion.
Visitation is Monday, April 18, 2011, 11am -1:00pm at the Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service officiated by Rev. Sr. Edward Meus. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park to follow.
In lieu of flowers suggested memorials to the Salvation Army or Joni and Friends appreciated.
