Joseph worked at Ted’s Auto Salvage for 5 years and Durham Auto Salvage for 47 years. He was an avid dirt track racer for over 33 years with numerous wins and championships to his name. He also loved farming and his dog Barney.
We are saddened to learn of Joe’s passing. He was a great racer and will be missed by many.
Was a great brother in law. Respectful and fun to be around. Will be dearly missed by all the friends he made over the years… alway looked forward to see him when anytime he came around the shop to get things repaired. Or we would grab some dinner. . Things won’t be the same with out him. Rip Joe
There will be an empty chair at all of our holiday celebrations, he will be missed by all of us. We have enjoyed his company since his racing days, then he became our brother- in-law when married Shirley, a welcome part of the family. RIP Joe 🙏
