Went home to be with Jesus and his beloved wife Else Sunday January 26, 2014 at the age of 85. Loving father of Frank (Susan), Ronald, Joseph (Mary), and (The late) Harley. Dear Grandfather “Opa” of Christian Grooms, Jason (Clare) Grooms, Joseph Till, Christopher Till and Kylie Till. Great-Grandfather of Lucy and Maura and Alannah Grooms. Also survived by a sister Theresia and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joseph was a proud U.S. Army veteran.
Visitation Thurs. Feb. 6 at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH 9306 W. Beloit Rd., from 10AM-11:30AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:45AM. Interment Forest Home Cemetery.
