Joyce R. Saskowski

Born to Eternal Life August 11, 2024, age 89 years.  She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Rosella and Erwin Bullerman, the youngest of three girls. Joyce often referred to herself as a change of life baby as there was a 15- and 13-year age difference between her and her sisters. Joyce met the love of her life Ronald “Onnies” in 1953 and they were married in 1956. In 1959 they moved into the home they built together where they raised their three children. Joyce worked for American Motors/Daimler Chrysler for 30 years and retired in 2001. In 2005, she moved to Oak Creek into a new condo in order to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Joyce thoroughly enjoyed retirement and spent her free time volunteering at St. Stephen’s Parish where she was a devoted Catholic, attending every event, big or small, for her children and grandchildren, spending time with friends, going to movies, traveling, gambling, crocheting, going out to eat, and generously donating to numerous charities. She also cherished all the memories she created with her family and loved being able to take her children and grandchildren on three cruises throughout her retirement.

Joyce was a loving and devoted mother to Marc, Laura (Tony) Maniaci, Dave (Lynn). Beloved and dotting grandmother to Anthony (Ryan Merhaut), Vincent, and Nicolo Maniaci, and Chase and Savanah (Kayla Probst) Saskowski. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and soon to be great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents Erwin and Rosella, and her sisters Dorothy (Harry) Mueller and Marjorie (Jim) Sieber.

I remember Aunt Joyce taking Laura and I to a dance class where we learned some pretty awesome disco dancing. Then we had a group night out at a local disco near the airport. I’ll never forget the laughing we all did. It was awesome!!

Sending my condolences and love to the whole family! I met Joyce a handful of times during get togethers with Vinnie over the years but I feel like I knew her well from all the lovely stories that the Maniaci family shared with me. I know she will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.

I will always cherish the memories going up with auntie Joyce. Spending nights over by her house and she was always accommodating! Made me breakfast, we shared lots of laughs. She was always smiling! I will always love you! Please give grandma Mueller the biggest hug for me! Love, your great Niece Tamatha Mueller

I have only known Joyce for a few years but loved her from the moment we met. She was always smiling and positive. Gary has many fond memories and has always spoken very highly of Joyce. She raised fabulous children who all put family first which is a wonderful tribute to Joyce.

So very sorry for your great loss at this time. To Marc and the entire Saskowsi family. I have been a long time friend with Marc and through our friendship, there became another tremendous blessing. Getting to know his mother Joyce! She was without a doubt, one of the most joyful, kind and loving persons I have had the priviledge to meet and make friends with. Her strong faith in her Savior Jesus reflected her strong love and care for family and friends. She will be dearly missed and remembered.
