Judith Ann Sweeney

Judith Ann Sweeney (nee King) born, December 23, 1945 passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 at the age of 71. Loving wife to Duane and beloved mother of Craig (Sheri Wheeler) of Delafield and Jill (Dave) Jurena of Milwaukee, and proud grandmother to McCormick and Kennedy Sweeney, Haley and Anna Jurena, and Calvin Wheeler. Treasured sister to Barbara King, Patrick King, Kathie King, Chris King.

Beloved Daughter-in-law of Edward (deceased) and Isabelle Sweeney.

Special sister-in-law to Dennis & Jayne Sweeney, Terry & Lisa Sweeney and Judy (Sweeney) Hildreth & Chris Hildreth.Judy also had many special Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends very close to her.

Judy was born in Milwaukee to Wallace and Betty (Wilson) King. She graduated from Greendale High School 1964 where she proudly served as homecoming queen, one of her fondest memories. She and Duane married July 18th, 1964 and proudly celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last month.

Judy’s favorite times were in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren whom she cherished. She was an avid QVC shopper, loved to read and write poetry, and enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends.

Judy’s laughter and smile will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd from 4 – 7 pm with a memorial service to follow at Heritage Funeral Home, 4800 S. 84th Street, Greenfield, WI.

The family is also planning a forthcoming celebration of Judy’s life (date and place tbd).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (hdsa.org) would be greatly appreciated.
