Raits, Judith R.
(nee LaVesser) Passed away Sunday September 17, 2017 at the age of 79 years. She was reunited with her beloved husband Gunars. Loving mom of Vivian (David) Solomon. Dear Oma of Michael and Andis Solomon. Sister of Susan Elle and Thomas (the late Joyce) LaVesser. Aunt and godmother of Katheryn (Eric) Mauer and Jonathan Ellsworth. Preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Margaret LaVesser and her brother Richard LaVesser. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Judy was proud of being a Kindergarten teacher. She and her husband traveled the world enjoying the people and live theater in London, New York and home in Milwaukee. A sweet and gracious lady, she will be sorely missed. Special thanks to the staff at Layton Terrace, Spring House staff at Layton Terrace and Vitas Hospice group. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday Oct. 21st at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 13235 W. Capitol Dr. from 11-11:30AM with a Celebration of Life at 11:30AM. Private interment.
