Julie Mary Ransom

RANSOM, Julie M. nee WSZALEK found peace Monday, September 10, 2012, age 90 years. Loving mother of Roland Judy, Daryl Monica, Patricia the late Raymond, Julie Ann. Beloved Grandmother of eight grandchildren, and Great Grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren. Great-Great-Grandmother of one great-great-grandchild. Sister of Sylvia, Richard, and Raymond, and preceded in death by the late Joan, Chester, and Theodore. Also preceded in death by grandson Wayne. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday September 14th, 2012 at the funeral home from 4-7PM, followed by funeral service at 7PM.

Julie built potentiometers during WWII at Allen Bradley, was formally recognized as a “Rosie the Riveter,” and played on Allen Bradley’s Women’s Baseball Team. She was a Purple Heart Hostess, loved to Polka, and always had a joke.
