Prochaska
Prochaska, June D. passed away on April 29, 2011 at Lincoln Village in Racine, WI at the age of 79 years.
June was baptized, confirmed and married at Trinity Lutheran church in Caledonia, WI where she has been a lifetime member. She loved music, sang in the church choir for many years and was an accomplished dancer. She enjoyed traveling, was an excellent cook, and most of all enjoyed time spent with her family and special friend Albert Green.
On September 16, 1950 June was united in marriage to Roland Prochaska, who passed away August 20, 1984. June is survived by her 4 children; Laurel David Knudson, Mark Janet Prochaska, Cynthia Peter Kuiper, and Sharon Brian Popp; her brother Roger Beverly Meissner; brother in laws Harvey Carol Prochaska and JimJanice Prochaska; sister in law of Patricia Vernon Frank and Betty Prochaska, her grandchildren Sara Randy Schattner, Stefanie Brian Lorello, Ryan Kuiper and fiancé Sue Leung, Katie Dan Scriver, Tyler Kuiper, Hanna Kuiper, Jacob Popp, Lauren Popp, Auston Prochaska and Justin Prochaska; great grandchildren Evan and Ella Schattner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death her brother, Russell, and her parents Henry and Irma Meissner.
Funeral Service on Tuesday May 3 at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7900 Nicholson Rd.- Caledonia at 11:00 am. Visitation Monday, May 2 at the Funeral Home from 5-8pm and on Tuesday, May 3 at the church from 10 am until the time of service 11:00 am. Entombment Forest Hill Memorial Park.

June’s children would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the staff of Lincoln Village who lovingly and compassionately cared for June in their home over the last year and Hospice Alliance who supported her and her family during her last days.
