Kasey Hipp

Passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on December 22, 2024 at age 52. Sweet daughter of Lori Hipp (nee Lochowitz). Kind and thoughtful sister of  Mike (Sharon) Hipp, Steve (Emily) Hipp, and Karen (Rob) Ponne. Dear aunt of Teagan (Connor) Carlson, Jace Hipp, Fleur (Paul) Ponne, and Roos (Lucas Jorna) Ponne. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Jim Hipp; her grandparents, Felix and Jeannette Lochowitz; her aunt, Mary Jo Kumke, and her uncle, Larry Lochowitz.
Kasey will be remembered for always being ready to help others, and she was especially passionate about mentoring at-risk youth and being able to help guide them.
In Kasey’s free time, some things that she enjoyed were sports, music, traveling, and going to see movies in the theater.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at The Wisconsin Club, 900 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Pathfinders Milwaukee are appreciated.

Kasey and I were cheerleaders, participated in different sports and other activities together in grade school and high school, and those years hold some of my most cherished memories. Kasey was not only an amazing athlete but also smart, funny, and full of that sarcastic humor that made her one of a kind. I always looked up to her—both literally and figuratively, since she was so much taller than me!

Though life took us in different directions after high school, we reconnected at a class reunion and on Facebook, and I am so grateful for those moments we shared again. My heart goes out to Kasey and all who loved and knew her. She will be missed more than words can express. Rest in peace, Kasey. 💔

Wishing Kasey’s family peace and comfort with this unimaginable loss. I worked with Kasey at Maryville for several years. I appreciated her sense of humor and we shared many laughs over the years. When she moved back to Wisconsin we kept in touch through Facebook and her social justice spirit, kind and compassionate ways always shown through. She lead by example with showing up to help those in need. I can’t begin to count the number of kids she gave her all too. I will miss her immensely. Job well done Kasey.

I am so sorry for the loss of Kasey. I was lucky enough to work with her and get to know her the last few years. She LOVED her family. She spoke about wonderful lunch dates and weekends spent with family and friends. She allows everyone to be their true self around her. She has the warmest hugs! I’m so sad she has left this earth. She will be missed.
