(nee Prindl) Died peacefully in her sleep as she wished October 21, 2016 at the age of 98. Preceded in death by her husband Donald V., parents Frank and Elizabeth, and siblings Mary, Betty, and Mike Prindl. Mother of Katherine (William) Blachowski and Joan (the late Guy Johnson) von Sternberg. Grandmother of Justin (Gianna) Blachowski and Jennifer Johnson. Great-grandmother of Eric, Abbie, and Jacob Blachowski, and Brianna Kelley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 11 AM – 12 PM, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church (16000 W. National Ave.). Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 PM. Kay’s husband Don’s ashes will be interred with Kay. All are welcome to the interment Thursday, at 11:30 AM, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL.

Kay was devoted to her family and many friends and greatly loved by all. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Blood Center Research Foundation (organ donations) appreciated.
