Nee Nelson Died peacefully at home Friday, November 9, 2012 age 82.
Affectionately known as Tula or Kay. Beloved wife and best friend of Thomas. They have been sweethearts since 1945, married in Milwaukee on December 18, 1954. Kathleen attended and graduated from Milwaukee State Teachers College/UWM. She became a school teacher and proudly enriched children’s lives with knowledge and compassion.
Loving mother of Michael Mary Jo and Karl. Grandmother of Lauren, Eric, and Julia. Further survived by her brother Quentin of Union City, CA.
Kay lovingly shared her spirit in the joys of the holidays making special memories for all. Her love, generosity, sensitivity, and kindness will be missed.
A private family service will be held in loving memory of Kay. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be made to La Causa Crisis Nursery and Respite Center, 522 W. Walker St, Milwaukee, WI 53204 or YMCA Camp Minikani, 875 Amy Belle Road, Hubertus, WI 53033.
