Visitation Sat. June 13 at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7219 S. 27th St., from 1-2:00 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m.

Kaye had the looks of Natalie Wood, sang in the choir and played the trumpet when she met and married varsity basketball player and quarterback Bill Gruszecki when the two attended St. John’s Cathedral High School in Milwaukee as the Class of 1952.
While raising their family of five in Milwaukee, Kaye and Bill moved to the home they built together in Waukesha, Wis., where from 1972 to 2001 she enjoyed family gatherings and the garden.
Kaye moved to be closer to family and friends in Franklin in 2001.
A tailor and seamstress, she made afghans, quilts, cross-stitch pictures and ornaments to celebrate Christmas-her most precious holiday-and to mark family milestones.
Besides these treasured gifts, Kaye was known for her German potato salad, perfect handwriting, core values and ability to pull family members together from afar. Kaye was very spiritual. She loved angels, roses, the Green Bay Packers and mystery novels with a twist.

We will miss and love you forever!
