Passed away peacefully August 16, 2016 at the age of 84. Loving husband of Jeanne. Caring father of Debra (James) Engel, Carol (James) Starrett, Scott (Nadeen) Sobottka, Penny (Jeff) Waterman, and Robert (Carol) Sobottka. Dear grandfather of Jason (Shellee), Jeff (Katie), Dawn, Joe (Addie), Adria (Andrew), Stephen (Jennifer), Stefanie, Megan, Crystal (Brandon), and Jennifer. Beloved great-grandfather of Jayden, Kaylee, Ashlee, Alex, Emily, Carly, Aidan, Lauren, Brooke, Evelyn, Wesley, Jordan, and Ellie. Brother of Erna Clickner, Ruth Schillinger, and Barbara Nelson. Preceded in death by brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20th, from 10 AM – 11:30 AM, at the funeral home. Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held August 29th, at 10:30 AM, at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Kenneth was a retired mechanic for FJA Christiansen Roofing Company where he worked for over 35 years. He was always someone that you could count on to help with any type of fix-it project, he would be willing to help anyone and always went the extra mile for them. Memorials are greatly appreciated to the Hartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
