Kenneth R. Forbord

Kenneth “Ken” Forbord, 86, of Greenfield found peace on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Beloved husband of Lois (Kuchenbecker) and loving dad to Mark (Linda), Gary (Mary) and Lynn (Jeff) Stone. Proud grandpa of Scott (Julie), Stacy (Jason) Gosmire, Neil, Nicole and great-grandpa to Hailey Gosmire.

As a young boy, Ken lived on a farm in Minnesota. Later he moved to Milwaukee and attended MSOE to become a Radio & Television Technician. He served honorably in the US Army as a Radio Operator in London, England. Interest in radio led him to become an Amateur Radio
Operator (K9BKJ). In 1965 his dream of owning a business became a reality known as Forbord Electronics. All who knew Ken will remember his quick wit and humor, kindness and ability to help others with his many talents. He collected and shared technical, humor and spiritual books.

Visitation Sat. Sept. 23, 9:30am until time of service at 11:00am at St. Jacobi Ev. Lutheran Church, 8605 W. Forest Home Ave, Greenfield. Interment Mon. Sept. 25 at 11:00am, Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jacobi Ev. Luth. Church appreciated.
