Fitch, Kermit DuWane
Began his Eternal Life with the Lord on Tue., April 12, 2005, age 83 years. He was born in Schofield, WI to Marvin Joseph Fitch, Sr. and Eunice nee Bixby Fitch on October 5, 1921. As a young man he enlisted in the US Navy. Serving his country in 2 campaigns, World War II and the Korean War. He became a member of the American Legion Post #049 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10388 until the time of his death. On November 16, 1955, he was united in marriage to Audrey Kraft in Waukegan, IL. They came to Milwaukee, WI where Kermit was employed at Maynard Steel for 35 years. They eventually made their home in the town of Raymond where they raised their 5 children, all of whom survive him: Keith Carrie Fitch of Arizona, Brenda Fitch, Kevin Fitch, Joyce Peter Swister and Kirby Nancy Fitch. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Delbert Fitch, Stanley Penny Rhinehart and Richard Rhinehart; 1 sister, Betty Cumberland; along with many other relatives and friends. Kermit was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Eunice: a sister, Joyce Schroeder; a brother, Marvin, Jr.; an infant daughter, Kimberly and an infant grandson, Kasey.
Funeral Service Friday 1 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Friends and relatives may call on Friday at the Funeral Home from 11 AM until the time of Service 1PM
