Kristi Kaiser

Kristi Kaiser (5O) of Waukesha, Wisconsin, gained her wings on November 28, 2024 (Thanksgiving) at Froedtert Medical Hospital in Milwaukee with her loving family by her side after a long battle with chronic kidney disease. She was born to Bob and Bev Schaller of Onalaska, Wi., on January 30, 1974. She married Jon Kaiser on April 26, 2003 and together they raised two wonderful children, Sage and Jaden.

Kristi graduated from Holmen High School and then attended UW-L in La Crosse and then graduated from Viterbo University. Everyone thought she would become a veterinarian or an animal behaviorist because of her amazing gift with animals.  Instead, she became the Operations Manager/Client Services Associate at One Tree Hill Financial. She loved her job, was very good at it, and cared deeply for each and every one of her clients.

Kristi had trained and showed dogs most of her life and the majority of her animals were rescues. She could do things with them that no one else could.

Kristi was very involved in her children’s lives and their activities and volunteered her time and energy to many of them.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jon, her two amazing children, Sage, and Jaden, her mother – Bev Schaller of Onalaska, Wi., her brother Kurt (Rhonda) Schaller and their children Savannah and Austin of McGregor, Iowa. Also her in laws, Roger and Emmie Kaiser of New Berlin and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Schaller, her maternal and paternal grandparents and her many dogs and cats.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11AM to 2 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, and memorial service will start at 2 PM at Heritage Funeral Homes, 16880 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to them as the perfect charity honoring Kristi’s compassionate spirit and commitment to helping others is yet to be determined. Please mail memorial cards to Heritage Funeral Homes Headquarters (7625 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, WI. 53154)

We are very sorry to hear of Kristi’s passing and we’ll certainly miss her pleasant voice each time that we call One Tree.
She was certainly “One of a kind”,” a person you felt that you knew immediately upon hearing her voice. She will be missed.

Kristi and I met because of a dog named Rosco. He was my heart dog and it was only fitting that when he was having issues adjusting after awhile, Kristi called me to take him back in, which gave them comfort as well because they all loved that boy so much!

When I heard of her passing, I immediately thought of Rosco greeting her with a slipper in his mouth – or anything else he could grab, because that dog greeted those he loved with something as a gift – and felt comforted he was crossed over The Bridge by his first Mama as well as all of your fur kids waiting for her

Jon, Sage and Jaden – my heart is with you all. I know she tried to be positive for so long and my wishes are that you have more smiles from all of your shared memories as time goes on.
