Kristine “Kris” Wagner
Kristine Lynn Wagner Age 69 of Milwaukee, WI Entered Eternal Life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Cherished sister of Richard Wagner. Kris was born on January 31, 1955, to Richard and Dorothy (nee Kohlmeier) Wagner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kris graduated from South Division High School in 1972 where she was active in the Student Government and Pep Club. She was a member of Emmaus United Methodist Church where she joined the Youth Fellowship and later served as a counselor to younger members. The group was active running fund raisers, attending church retreats, and socializing at picnics, potluck dinners and dances. After graduation, Kris found employment at Badger Mutual Insurance Company where she was to work for more than 52 years. As of today, she is the longest tenured employee in the company’s history. She was a loyal member of the Badger family making lifelong friendships during her career. Kris was known for her dry wit, her love of the Royal family and Teddy Bears, creative Halloween costumes, making “distinctive” desserts, and always being up for a good joke or pun and making jigsaw puzzles on her lunch hour. Kris played accordion and was immensely proud of all of the square-dancing events she attended all around the US.
Kris did all kinds of needlework such as tatting, crocheting and knitting making afghans for friends. Kris was a regular at all fund raisers and was always ready to lend support. Further survived by Cousins Dean and David Trost and many Doerr, Meier, Kubik, and Jaeger cousins as well as her dear lifelong friend Chris Guse and many Badger Mutual “family and friends.”
