LaVerne G. Scheffler-Tabbert

LaVerne Scheffler-Tabbert passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 age 86. Wife of the late Richard Tabbert. Loving & very special Mother of Kimmarie (Michael) Brown. Proud & precious Grandma of Colin, Lenel, and Holly Erin. Sister of the late Clifton (Erika) & the late Elaine (late Byron) Heder. Also survived by the families of Ken & Doug Crogan and very special friends of Our Lady Queen of Peace, who she held dear in her heart. Further survived by other relatives & friends.

Visitation Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 10AM to 12PM at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE 3222 S 29th St, Milwaukee, WI 53215. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12PM. Private interment at Good Home Cemetery.

LaVerne was a police dispatcher for the Whitefish Bay Police from 1970 to 1993. Her passion for singing & the theatre led her to be active with the Florentine Opera Company, Skylight Theatre, Marquette Players and the Wilsonaires singing group. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace choir & Parish Council, and Mature Singles & Doubles group.
