LaVonne D. Schroeder
of East Troy, Wi died at Burlington Memorial Hospital on July 30, 2001 at age 60 years. Born April 26, 1941 in Whitehall, Wi to parents Milen Schroeder and Eleanor Schroeder nee Mahlum. LaVonne attended Hixton elementary and Jackson High Schools. She received her English teaching degree at University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She taught High School English for 33 years and was a longtime resident of East Troy.
LaVonne is survived by her parents Milen and Eleanor of Black River Falls. Brother CurtisGloriaSchroeder of Sun Prairie, Sister DonnaRogerThompson of Black River Falls. Niece Lori Schroeder of Madison and Nephew Scott Schroeder of Madison. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
A time of rememberance was held on Monday August 6, 2001 at Heritage Funeral Homes – East Troy, Wi.
LaVonne loved drama and the arts. She was the head of the Drama Department for many years and enjoyed working with the kids. LaVonne also had a love for being outdoors gardening, reading, watching movies, and going to musicals.
