July 9, 2008, age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late June nee Schoenfeld. Dear father of Donna Fred Szymczak, Jill Jim Royten, Perry Muckerheide, Larry and Randall Jody Hellestad. Loving grandfather of Andrea Jason Workman, Ed Alana Szymczak, Ben, Becky and Joe Royten and Scott and Kevin Hellestad. Great-grandfather of Gracie, Ella and Natalie. Dear brother of Vic the late Melda, Phil Jan and Ken Hellestad. Brother-in-law of Lois Schoenfeld, John Scott and Nina Linn.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 11 from 3 to 7 PM with complete Funeral Service at 7 PM.

Leland was a veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He was a retired teamster from Express Freight Lines with 32 years of service. Special thanks to the staff at the Zablocki Veterans Hospital for their care.
