Wednesday, May 4, 2011, age 90 years. Loving husband of Cecilia Thomet nee Fox. Devoted father of Leo, Jr. Cindy, Barry, Bryan Susan and Melissa Thomet. Loving grandfather of Peter, Trevor, Jenna fiance Cory Christian and Alex Thomet. Leo was the last remaining of 14 brothers and sisters. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Leo was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years Willa Jean nee Rook Thomet.
Visitation Sunday, May 8 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3722 S. 58th St. at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at a later date in Burlington, MI. Parish vigil at 6:30 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Leo was a very active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and American Legion Post #416, Greendale. He loved his family, and loved to dance, golf and watch baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice, Milwaukee Zoological Society or American Red Cross appreciated.
