Lester “Mike” Brewster
Born to Eternal Life Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Dolores (nee Wehner). Beloved father of Michael Brewster, Frances Schaaf, and Janice Giguere. Dear grandfather of Kyle, Zachary, and Bryan Giguere, Samantha Schaaf, and Tyler Smith. Brother of the late M.L. Brewster and James (Pat) Brewster. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, from 4:30 PM – 7 PM, at the funeral home and on Thursday, September 19, from 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church (9306 W. Beloit Rd.). Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 AM. Private inurnment at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Mike was a proud member of the Krejci Braun Meier VFW Post #7485, the Marine Corps League, and the 128th Air National Guard.
“Mike” & I spent a lot of time together in the 128th and Bowling with the “Unmentionables” at the Wednesday night league as well as on several ANG National Bowling Tournaments. He was a very good friend to me, helped out a lot at tournaments as well as during my occasional trips “Up North”. I will miss him a lot. RIP Mike. …… .Bird
