Lester “Skip” Scholz
Age 78, of Oak Creek, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born November 21, 1944, in Milwaukee, by the late Ruben and Frances Scholz.
Skip is survived by his loving wife, MaryEllen (nee Sytkowski), of 57 years. Further survived by his sister, Judith Taus, and his children; Brian Scholz, Ross (Candace Maxim) Scholz, Todd (Kristine) Scholz, and Jennifer (John) Socha. Grandchildren; Jennifer Guzman-Godoy, Abigail, and Ella Socha, Karlee, and Emilee Scholz. Also, great-grandchildren; Luke Johnson, Eli, Nathan, Olivia, and Evan Guzman-Godoy.
Skip spent most of his life enjoying time at Cedar Lake with his family and friends. He was an amazing and devoted (great) grandfather. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed that time outdoors. Skip always planted sunflowers for his beloved wife. In his free time, he enjoyed making memories with family gatherings, hunting, fishing, and racing. Most of all, he loved his trips to Vegas.
Visitation to be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 at the FUNERAL HOME from 9-11am with a Funeral Service at 11AM. Internment Arlington Park Cemetery.

To Aunt Mary, Brian, Ross, Todd, and Jenny, I would like to extend my sincere condolences. I’ve thought about uncle skip many times over the last several years, he was a very special person and I will never forget him. Again I’m very sorry for your loss
