Wednesday, April 23, 2003 age 85 years. Beloved husband of Shirley Nee Johnson. Dear father of Scott & Mark Luann. Loving grandfather of Nicole Mark Reynolds, Jason, Eric, Jared and Michael. Brother-in-law of Margaret Balkman and Leona Balkman. Fond Uncle of Noel Zimny, Todd Zimny and their families. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the Funeral Home from 9 – 11 AM with Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery.
Mr. Balkman was a retiree of Wisconsin Bell. If so desired, Memorials to the Salvation Army or Ascension Lutheran Church appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Carolina Manor, Dr. Dan Smith and staff at the UW Health-Fox Valley and other medical professionals providing care.
