Found peace Monday Sept. 24, 2001 age 82 yrs. at Fort Atkinson Health and Rehab. Born May 10, 1919 to parents Clarence Krieg and Dora nee Brenacke in Chicago, IL. She Attended school in Burlington, IL. Lorraine married Elmer Deceased 1965 Oct 15, 1938 at St Peter’s Lutheran Church, in North Plato, IL. Lorraine entertained her life as a farmers wife and as a house keeper at the Fort Atkinson Health and Rehab for 15 years before being a resident there for the last 3 yrs. In her spare time Lorraine spent many hours in her garden working with her hands and providing beauty for all to share. She has been a resident of the community since 1962 and a active member of St John’s Lutheran Church, Sullivan.
Lorraine is survived by her children: Lawrence Lola of Palmyra, Karen Hertel of Fort Atkinson and Cathy Jim of Wisconsin Dells. Grandchildren: Sharon Rick Martin of Palmyra, Kenneth Janice of Va Beach, and Gerhardt Lori Hertel of Jefferson. Great Granchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Katie, Kenneth Jr, Rachel, Brandon and Korina Other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer, brother: Clarence and sister Lois.
Visitation Thursday Sept. 27, 4-7 {M at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral Service Friday Sept 28, 1 PM with visitation from 12 Noon until time of service at St John’s Lutheran Church W 407 Hwy 18, Sullivan. Interment Golden Lake Cemetery. Pastor John Schmidt Officiating. Memorials to Fort Atkinson Health Care Axillery, Alzheimers Assoc. or St John’s Lutheran Church Appreciated.
