Born to Eternal Life January 5, 2022, at the age 92 years. Lorraine was born June 2, 1929, in Washburn County, WI to the late Mildred and Lawrence Taubman.
Beloved wife of over 53 years to the late Wilbur “Bill”. Cherished mother of Craig (Donna Marie), Susan (David) Schmalzer, Barbara (David) Fieldstad and Randall (Deborah). Loving grandma of Brandon (Katy), Derek (Afton), Renee (Kevin) Wall, Erin Walker, Kyle Schmalzer, Trenten Fieldstad, Tina Roush (Josh), April (Mark) Buchholz, Tyler (Angela) Benz. Dear great-grandma to Eden, Fox, Hannah, Abel, Carter, Mallory, Gabriella, Natalie, Douglas, Thomas and Layne. Sister of Larry Taubmann, Bill Taubman, Audrey Reindahl and the late Beverlee Bruce. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be Saturday, January 15, from 2 to 5pm at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH (2500 S. 68th St.) with Funeral Service at 5pm. Interment Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated.
Lorraine was a long time employee of Hancock Fabrics in Milwaukee.
My Memory of Loraine, is her constantly being Happy! A smile on her face and her sweet voice with always something nice to say. My mom Hilda Terek was able to visit with her when she lived at Library Square, Loraine had a good time showing my mom and all of us her apartment and my mom and her never stopped talking and enjoying each other’s company while they were together. I think they both lifted each others spirits! We all need to smile a little more. like Loraine.
