Simon, Lorraine Mae
(nee Fischer) Sunday August 17, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard W. Loving mother of Lin (Alan) Wollschlager and Ric (Gail). Grandmother of Jeff (Angie), David (Lotus), Nicole (fiancé Justin), and Shantelle. Great-grandmother of Jacob, Ian, Kaden, and Audrey Joy. Aunt of Gary (Joan), Randy (Debi), and Vicky (Dan). Also survived by other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 21st from 4-7PM at ASCENSION LUTHERAN CHURCH; 1415 Dopp St, Waukesha. Visitation continues Friday from 9:30-10:30AM at the Church with a Funeral Service at 10:30AM and a luncheon to follow. Committal Service Friday, 2:30PM at Arlington Park Cemetery; 4141 S. 27th St, Greenfield. Please meet at the front gate of the cemetery.
Lorraine was proud to have been a 1946 graduate of Bayview High School and to have worked in her early years as a Medical X-ray Technician. “Mom” to many of Sing Out Milwaukee-Up With People. She was a founding member of the Martin Luther High School Ladies Guild and Rummage Sale and former employee of Milwaukee County Bank. Devoted and loving mother to the Christian upbringing of her children. Proud owner of her great-grandson’s Little League Gameball and Grandma #2 to many.
