Of East Troy found peace Weds. Dec. 12, 2001 at age 85yrs at Lakeland Hospital. Born August 15, 1916 to parents Louis Moe and Anna Elizabeth Nowak in Eau Claire, WI. Where she lived and attended school until 1941 when she married Fred Miner. After his death,Lorriane married John Kmiec in 1978 in Haywood, WI. She resided in both Chippewa Falls, WI and Clearwater Beach, Fl throughout her life, providing a home for her family as a Homemaker. She has been a resident of East Troy for about 1 yr.and Chippewa Falls for 20 yrs.
Lorraine is survived by two daughters: Susan Dennis Thome of East Troy and Barbara Plombon of Portland, Oregon. Four Grandchildren: Sutton Plombon-Leja of Buffalo Grove, IL., KeeleyThomas McNairPlombon of Portland, Oregon,Rex Plombon of Portland, Oregon and Kelly Thome of Greenbay, WI. A brother:Eugene Moe of Eau Claire, WI and two sisters Alyce Thompson of Palatine, IL and Margaret Haug of Eau Claire, WI. Lorraine is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands Fred and John.
Memorial services will be held Thursday Dec. 13, 2001 at 4:00 PM with visitation From 2:00 PM until the time of service. All at the funeral home. Fr. John Twomey officiating. Lorraine will be layed to rest at Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake, WI. at a later Date.
