Boucher, Louis D. “Lou”
age 83 yrs. Beloved husband and sweetheart of Gloria nee – Bartz. Preceded in death by the late Marion nee-Michalek and infants David, Janet & Eileen. Loving father of Mary Ellen John Paulus, Claude Carol, Keith Susan and Craig Debbie McKinney, Mary David Pietruszynski and Bruce Linda McKinney. Dearest brother of Edith Boucher, Doris Dale King and Bernie Boucher. Fond brother-in-law of Ken Carol and Gerald Dorothy Bartz, and Dorothy and the late Irwin Laabs. Further survived by thirteen grandchildren eleven great grandchildren other relatives and many good friends. Lou was a proud Navy veteran serving in WWII. He was a mailman for 30 years and retired on February 14, 1980. Lou loved the people on his route as much as they loved him. A special goodbye to all the “Sugar Plums and Buckaroos” he cherished on his route. Lou also loved music. He belonged to the Wilsonaires and was a 25-year member of St. Roman’s Church choir. Always active, he enjoyed softball, dart ball, bowling, golfing, square dancing, and camping in the motor home. Visitation Fri. Feb. 8th, 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Prayer service at 7 PM. Funeral service Saturday Feb. 9th. 9:30 Am at the funeral home to ST. ROMANS CHURCH 1710 W. Bolivar Ave. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the “angels,” in the Men’s Memory Care Unit at the Bradley Nursing Home. We thank you for your gentle hands, sense of humor, and sense of dignity you so lovingly gave to your “LouLou.” In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin or Asera Care Hospice.
