Of West Allis. Born to eternal life on June 5, 2015, age 86. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth. Cherished mother of Norman (Marlene) Sowatzke, Sandra (Ralph) Engelhardt, Bryan (Susan) Sowatzke and Philip (Joan) Sowatzke. Dearest grandmother of Rachel (Michael) Poulsen, Katie Sowatzke, David Engelhardt, Matthew (Dawn) Engelhardt, Elizabeth (Joseph) Schlicht, Sara Engelhardt and Andrew Sowatzke (fiancée Tina Yin) and wonderful great-grandmother to Liam, Evelyn and Lily. Also survived by her brother Louis Kajtna, other relatives and many special friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 10 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and on Thursday, June 11 at Woodlawn Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2217 South 99th Street, West Allis, WI from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Private family burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Woodlawn Lutheran Church appreciated.
