    Perhaps they are not stars,
    but rather openings in Heaven
    where the Love of
    our lost ones
    pours through
    and shines down
    upon us
    to let us know
    they are happy.

I met Sandi’s mom & dad, Lucy and her beloved Herman sometime between 1981 and 1983 when Sal and I were stationed in Pearl Harbor. At that time “Herm” and Lucy were together, visiting Sandi, Varis & Tish. What a delightful woman!!!! What a wonderful family 🙂 I love Sandi with all my heart and I know exactly where she got her sense of humor as well as her love of family & friends! I specifically remember our time together when Herm wore his socks & sandles to the beach….and I can still see Lucy roll her eyes with a smile. We all laughed together as Herm walked along pretending not to notice. I saw them a lot during their visit and the mood was always happy and silly and fun. Lucy, surely you will be missed by many but Ifind comfort knowing you are now with the love of your life. Together. Forever. What a perfect story you own!!!! And may Lucy’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
