Lynn M. Weiss

(nee Teske) Lynn was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, September 15,2024 age 76 years.  Beloved wife of John A. Weiss for 55 years.  Loving mom of John (Cindy), Mike (Kelli) and Jeff Weiss.  Proud grandma of Kayla, Jordan, Anna, Jay, Evelyn, Ethan and Oliver.  Further surviving are other relatives and many friends.

Lynn lived her life focused on others.  Between raising three boys, volunteering at church and school, and cooking or baking for family and friends, Lynn showed she cared in her way.  She was a people person and she loved to do coffee or lunch with family and friends and talk about anything and everything.  Lynn’s sense of humor, gift of gab, and chocolate eclair torte will be missed by everyone.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, October 2,2024 9-10:45 am at St. Matthew Church 9303 South Chicago Rd. Oak Creek, WI 53154.  Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11:00 am. Immediately following Mass her urn will be placed in the church cemetery columbarium.

If so desired, Memorials in Lynn’s memory to St. Matthew School would be greatly appreciated.

We were very saddened to hear of Lynn’s passing. When we come from NM to Wi to visit with family every December, we have to say that without Lynn, the cousin’s Christmas gathering will never be the same. With Ruthie, Marilyn and now Lynn gone, Bill and I are hoping that they are watching over all of us instead. Sending love and sympathy to you, John, all of the children and grandchildren.

So very sad to hear of Lynn’s passing. She was a good friend to all. I remember the camping trips with her, John and her sons fondly; our occasional card-playing nights and choir times. She helped me immensely by stepping in to watch my daughter when I was between daycare providers. Rest easy my dear friend. You are loved and will be greatly missed

I will remember Aunt Lynn for her presence of just being there and her greeting me of “ well hello Stephen, How are you?”
She came to many softball games, mass and family gatherings. She was always remembering to drop a card in the mail for an anniversary or birthday.
Prayers to Auntie Lynn and her family. Rest in peace now.
