Margaret E.
Wagie
Margaret Ella nee Falk Wagie, 89, of East Troy, Wisconsin, died on December 11, 2010, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. Margaret was born on April 22, 1921, in Whitewater, Wisconsin, to William and Minnie Falk. She had one sister, Sadie Madouse, also deceased.
Margaret was united in holy matrimony to John W. Wagie on May 26, 1945, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Whitewater, Wisconsin. They were blessed with four children: John Beth of Jackson, WI, Linda Williams of Santa Barbara, CA, Marcella Charles Lowry of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Phillip Taleen of Milwaukee, WI. They have 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a soft spoken lady who lovingly cared for her children as an “at-home” mom. She taught them the values of hard work, thriftiness and faith in Jesus as their Savior. She wanted more for them than she had received and sacrificed so they all could go to college and pursue careers.
Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a 50 year member of the Dorcas Society. She loved gardening many people commented on her beautiful garden every year, embroidery and card games. She loved her “castle” and filled it with homemade craft and sewing projects, flower arrangements and her quiet style of love. Family was so important to Margaret. She was not only devoted to her husband and children but also a caring daughter and was appreciated by her sister, cousins, and the entire Wagie clan.
A Christian funeral will be held on Saturday, December 18, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, conducted by Pastor Adam Zimplemann. Visitation from 10:00am-noon, followed by the service and a luncheon. Internment at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in East Troy. Donations may be given to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
JESUS SAID: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25
