Maria Rebecca Aurelia Mendoza Mabini

Born July 29, 1970-Died July 26, 2024

Maria Rebecca was born in Milwaukee in 1970 to the late Dr. Francisco M. Mabini Jr. and late Dr. Evelina M. Mabini. “Rebby” (as she was known) was a feisty individual who had great musical ability and a beautiful spirit.  Her smile could light up a room, and she loved her family with all her might, especially her twin sister, Maria Josefina Amalia (“Jenny”).  Rebby was always on the move, always rocking and dancing.  Even in her later years when she experienced mobility issues, she was moving around in her wheelchair to music, to the chatting of her group home residents, to the talking of her family and to her own singing.

Rebby is survived by her twin sister Maria Josefina, brothers Franciso Rafael (Kim), Daniel Pol (Heather) and sister Maria Alona (Patrick). She was an aunt to Emma, Jade, Maliya, Francisco IV and Lexi.  She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Francisco M. Mabini Jr. and Dr. Evelina M. Mabini.  She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends, especially at Milwaukee Center For Independence (MCFI).

No formal services are scheduled,

a private family prayer ceremony will be conducted to memorialize “Rebby”
