Visitation will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church 1927 N. 4th Street (corner of N. 4th and W. Brown St.) on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 6:00 PM.  Committal Services will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 W. Capitol Dr. -please meet at the cemetery office by 9:45 AM.

Mariano Aviles, Sr. was Born to Eternal Life September 3, 2021, age 85 years. He is the beloved husband of the late Paulita and the loving father of Evelyn Aviles, Sylvia Aviles, Mariano (Jacqueline) Aviles Jr., Migdalia Aviles, the late Antonio Aviles and the late Edwin Aviles.  He is further survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

    My Uncle Te’ti was a very kind man who loved his entire family…He an I were very close and I’m truly going to miss him an his kindness always being there for everyone..
    An our strolls down memory lane which was one of our favorites…everytime we talked about Puerto Rico an his childhood with him an my father he could recall special moments that made him smile so much an I absolutely loved it!
    While he was in the hospital he spoke with me about being so excited to meet Our Lord an Saviour and to finally reunite with his dearly missed wife,his brother (my father) his mother and his boy’s..Thou my Uncle will truly be missed I know he’s at peace now with no more worrys about medical issues which sadden him. I’m gonna miss you Uncle Te’ti an you’ll forever live in my heart…
