Butzlaff, Marie, age 92

Marie Butzlaff (nee Broberg) of Franklin, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Lawlis Family Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Marie was born on February 22, 1924 in Daggett, MI, the daughter of Rueben Sr. and Elizabeth (Koldos) Broberg. She married William Butzlaff on June 15, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

Marie will be greatly missed by her family who adored her, husband William, son Donald (Kerry) of Woodland Park, CO, daughter Janet (David) Carpenter of Charleston, IL, and son Jeffrey (Lisa) of Franklin, WI, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 1-3 PM on Friday, July 8, followed by a service at 3PM.

The family thanks the staff of Horizon Home Care and Hospice for the exceptional care they provided for Marie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to this organization.
