Marilyn P.
Perekovich

Perekovich, Marilyn P.
nee Baumann 71, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on May 15th after battling cancer for 24 years. Marilyn was born on May 14, 1941 in Franksville to Frank and Marie Baumann. Marilyn graduated from Wm. Horlick High School in 1959. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank, on October 7, 1961 and enjoyed celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Marilyn worked at Professional Positioners Lab in Racine for 17 years and then decided to use her creative flair to start her own business, Perfection by Perk, an interior design firm she ran for 25 years, retiring in 2003. Marilyn had a lot of advice to offer, many gems that will be quoted for years to come. She always said that “No one owes you a good time,” and Marilyn was always the life of the party. Her positive outlook on life was what kept her going. She always had a smile and twinkling blue eyes and she never complained.

Survivors include her husband, Frank, her daughters, Terri David Marcell and DeDe Albright, her grandchildren, Justin Heinkel, Emily Albright, Stacey Marcell, Rebeca Jeremy Argiro, and Matthew Marcell, her great-grandchildren, Cameron and Casandra Frazier and Madelyn Argiro, her angel caregiver Onon Altangerel, her sisters, Audrey Fix, Ellie Heinrich, Shirley Jerry Kortendick, Lois Malicki, and LaVerne Jerry Engelbart, her brothers, Francis Carol Baumann, Raymond Baumann, Eugene Baumann, and Florian Betty Baumann, her sister-in-law Kathy Ron Hanson, her brother-in-law Don Terry Perekovich, her Godchildren, Joy Vesely, Jerry Engelbart, Kelly Zeitler and Jason Kalchik, and many, many other relatives and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Frank and Stella, her brother John, and her brother-in-laws Larry Malicki, Bernie Heinrich and Ken Fix.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 PM – 6 PM and at the church on Monday from 9 AM – 10 AM. Funeral services will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, I94 & Hwy G, Caledonia Monday, 10 AM. Interment will take place at St. Louis Church Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Asera Care Hospice for their guidance and assistance in caring for Marilyn.
