Slicker, Marion M. (Nee Greinert)

Called home to the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the age of 94 years.  Loving Wife of the late Robert, married for 67 years.  Dear Mother of Mark (Brenda), Gary (Ellen), Barbara (David) Harroun, Debora (Dennis) Czeshinski and Loretta (Allen) Enger.  Loving Grandchildren Derek (Shannon), Jessica (Jeff), Eric (Amy), Michelle (Paul), Heather (Peter), Janel (Brian) and Sarah (Chris).  Further survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marion and Bob enjoyed family, friends and their black lab, Thunder. They bowled on leagues for many years. They loved going up north to their cottage enjoying swimming, water skiing, grilling out, sitting around the camp fire with family and deer hunting.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora-Summit Med-Surg 3 East for their caring help to mom and them during the last difficult days. They would also like to thank the staff at Azura Memory Care-Oconomowoc where Marion spent the last month. Thank you for your loving care, tears and sharing your stories about mom with us.

A Memorial Visitation for both Marion and Robert will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the FUNERAL HOME (16880 W. National Ave.) from 10AM until the time of the Celebration of Life at NOON.  Private Interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Milwaukee Children’s Hospital, Wisconsin Humane Society or to the Veteran’s organization of your choice greatly appreciated.

My deepest sympathy to Mark, Gary, Barbara, Debbie, Loretta and their families. Aunt Marion and Uncle Bob were my favorite Aunt and Uncle.
May they both rest in peace together. We will all be with them again someday.
