Marjorie Pfeffer

(nee Helding) Passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2024, age 79 years.  Marge was the beloved wife of Bill, loving mother of Karen (Erik) Anderson and Kevin (Heather) Pfeffer, proud Oma of Ruby and Luke Anderson and Ellie and Ace Pfeffer, and dear sister of Joyce (Mike) Groff.  Marge is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas and David Helding, her parents Russell and Dorothy Helding, brothers-in-law Rick and Randy Pfeffer, father-in-law Louis Pfeffer, and other relatives and friends.

Family meant everything to Marge.  While she did work as an administrative assistant at St. Louis School in Caledonia, the roles she loved most were being a wife, mother, and later on, Oma. She looked forward to the days her grandchildren spent with her and family gatherings on the holidays. Marge enjoyed just being at home – it was the simple things that brought her the most pleasure.  She loved gardening and possessed a green thumb that helped her surround her home with beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed serving as secretary of the local car club, the Country Cruisers, which she and Bill have belonged to for many years.

Marge will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.

If desired, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association  online donation link: Wisconsin (alz.org) or the Racine Campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society online donation link: Racine Campus | Wisconsin Humane Society (wihumane.org) are appreciated. Alternatively, you can honor Marge by planting flowers in the spring and thinking of her.

Marge will be laid to rest at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery during a private family ceremony.
